Timepiece Photography Exposes Quality Features

hasman Photography

Throughout history, the timepiece has been necessary to help men meet schedules and get to meetings on time. With the overabundance of clocks and digital time-telling devices we see at every turn, men’s watches do not hold the same need they once did. At this very moment, you can probably see the time somewhere around you whether you have a watch or not. Some people still work in situations where they do not have clocks or cell phones to supply the time of day. This usually occurs where work is outdoors and in remote locations. The people who need to know the time in these areas are not looking for rich men’s watches, only a dependable timepiece that can be purchased for a few dollars.Fine watches are used by people who enjoy jewelry and beautiful things. Wearing a watch today is much more of a status symbol than it is for knowing the time. That makes the purchase of one a well thought out activity for the buyer, and it demands good selling skills by the merchant, who wants to deliver the goods.

Because sales are more often based on preference than they need, the tastes of the buyer are even more important now than they were in yesterday’s world. It might not be possible to carry enough inventory to suit everyone’s desire for men’s watches, but it is possible to have digital photography that allows selections to be made without the physical product on hand.If a person is buying a watch, he wants to know physical details that can’t be explained in written text. For this reason, photography must be clear enough to see the movement of the sweep second hands, date boxes, or any item that is a strong selling feature when the person sees the watch in person. If jewels are set in the wristband or around the face of the watch, they should appear reflective, just as the actual gems would appear off the printed page. Contrasts of photographs should be dark to give more three-dimensional detail and depth of the screen. At one time, photographic artists went through a phase in which all pictures needed a live subject who was photogenic and aroused the desire for the buyer to look the same through the purchase of the product.Although that is still done for many products, it is not as high a marketing point with elegant watches as the highly detailed photograph of the watch itself.

The two primary ways that photographers present men’s watches today both represent the timepiece as the central point of interest. Some like the realism of the watch on the wrist of a model, as long as the human parts do not negate the attraction of the watch.By and large, the most often seen advertisement is the watch clasped and lying on a rigid surface with some same background. Depending on the watch, it might be necessary to have two separate pictures from different angles, giving all the visual information a shopper should need. Photographs sell many men’s watches, so detail is vital.

International Film Festival – Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop

For film enthusiast in Pakistan, the InternationalFilm Festival in September this year would bean event worth cheers and celebrations. The event promises the showing of a whole range of films, documentaries, short films and feature films to attractthemass of fanatic fans of arts and liberal arts.

Before moving here in 2012, Rafi-Peer Theater Workshop (RPTW), the iconic name in holding festivals in the field of Dance, Drama, Music and Puppetry, had to its credit successfully hosting 37 international festivals since 1992.
The RPTW is a non-profit organization actively promoting culture and arts both at home and abroad for over thirty-five years. Over 3.6 million people have attended these festivals to watch 26,000 performers from around 89 countries and Pakistan.

Since 2002 the festivals have been merged to form the “World Performing Arts Festivals” where all the different genres have been presented. Whilst over a thousand international performers have graced these occasions and enlightened the people with their artistic performances, it is Pakistani artistes that have received the greatest platforms to express themselves to the accolades of both the audience and the critics. Performing to packed halls and auditoriums they enthrall locals and visitors alike.

Cinema is another great medium of communication with the masses; most of the Peer Films productions have won awards at festivals in Toronto and Berlin.
Rafi Peer Theater Workshop’s aim is to promote the arts and culture at the grassroots level in all five provinces. Lately plans are being made to reach to the FATA agencies as well. Initiatives in this regard are television documentaries, puppet shows, theatre plays and music concerts. Festival such as the Sufi Music Festival and the World Performing Arts Festival help showcase our own culture to locals and foreign visitors alike. The audience is also exposed to performances from other cultures and regions.

These events promote culture at all levels that enlighten our society both in urban and rural areas. The World Performing Arts Festival pioneered by RPTW is now an internationally famed event. With its advent and the confidence it inspires, Pakistan has emerged on the cultural map of the world as a unique entity despite the difficult domestic situation after 9/11.

In the festivals organized by RPTW most of the films which are screened are the alternative films and not the budgeted blockbusters. These films show the diversity of form and content and expose the talent and the interest inherent and implicit. Since these films are not made for the box office, the range is not constricted by what the audiences want.

The International Film Festival will help recognize the growing independent cinema in Pakistan, which has produced movies on numerous thought-provoking ideas and received acclaim and appreciation.

With Lahore, the cultural heart of the country and cradle of its film industry, would be hosting the Festival, the endeavor is also aimed at revival of the film industry though in a new fashion to meet the growing needs of independent and vibrant media.

After screening of the films at the festival, arrangements are in place to take the festival to 10 best educational institutions in all the five provinces of the country to impress upon the new talent by introducing them to the best form of learning. This will also help to induce them to one of the best form of expression which had been a very rich and varied cultural heritage in which performing arts were very much part of life.

First light -National Geographic

My first upload on National Geographic website got selected in an assignment named “First light”Photography

Author Kurt Mutchler(senior photo editor Nation Geographic) selected 19 favorites selected from more than a hundred include a wide range of people, places, cityscapes, landscapes, and wildlife, which reflects the diversity of the photographic interests of the Your Shot community. My Photograph was one of them.

Jim Richardson, a long-time National Geographic magazine photographer once said, “If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff!” He said it half jokingly, but there is truth to it. As this assignment may have taught you, light is important and can make a huge difference in your photography, but it does not transcend the subject matter. If you have a boring subject, you’ll make a boring picture. Everything has to line up just right—lighting, subject matter, and the capturing of the decisive moment—and that’s what makes photography so difficult.

If you can find a mentor whose photography you like, show them your pictures for feedback. And when you do, show them the entire take, not just your favorites. You can learn a lot by seeing how you shoot from one frame to the next. Sometimes a bad picture can teach you a lot. As I wrote in one of my comments, photography is like walking up a series of steps. In the beginning you improve quickly and take many steps, then you get to a point where you stay on the same level for a while until you have a breakthrough. This never ends.

He also had explained the reason that why he choose my picture3

12391859_1036016079773181_4911880107734315075_nTenth WordPress meetup held in the same city in sequence on 19th December 2015. This event became mega event when organizers included Mr. Kamran Shafi (Freelancing Mentor) as a speaker in this event. Audience praised him a lot and for the first time a WordPress meetup got 1000+ RSVP and almost 400+ developers and I.T. professionals.
Attendee Fahad Mahmood (WordPress Mechanic), WordPress plugin and theme development framework author and shared his views:
“The auditorium was not sufficient for such a big crowd of young students, experts, freelancers, people were sitting on stairs, standing at auditorium doors and the organizers had to manage a projector outside so that people could attend the event outside too. I hope, next time WordPress meetup will be held somewhere else.

“I had a chance to interact with a few participants,” he said. “Majority of them were there to listen Mr. Kamran Shafi (Freelancing Mentor) and they seemed a little disappointed that his session was of short duration. Most of them are expected a separate event by Kamran Shafi next time. I was just surprised by the popularity of a Freelancing Mentor than WordPress Plugin Developers”.

Muhammad Kashif Arain, one of the 10th Anniversary WordPress meetup attendees, said that news of the event spread through an extensive network of Pakistani freelancers who are connected by social media. ProPakistani, a local IT news site, also published an article that helped new attendees learn about the event. “We closed registration two days before the event because we were not allowed to invite more people,” Kashif said. He and fellow organizers, with the help of 25+ volunteers, printed directions, arranged refreshments, and managed the crowd. As the meetup is being mature since 2013, they put the event together with the help of #PITB & #TECHHUBCONNECT. He hopes that the event will attract sponsors but wants to be careful to preserve their purpose and focus. We welcome anyone who wants to join us but we would like to maintain the independence and the freedom of WordPress,” he said.
Paving the Way for WordCamp Pakistan.

Organizers of the 19th December WordPress meetup expected even more attendees at the next event on January 16, 2015. They are working together with other active meetups in Karachi, Sialkot, and Hyderabad to organize WordCamp Pakistan as a mega event in September 2016. The WordPress Foundation is currently reviewing their application. English and Urdu are the primary languages used by the WordPress community in Pakistan, so the WordCamp would be accessible to many more attendees from around the world. “English is official language. So most of the sessions are in English but the smart speakers and presenters switch to Urdu to keep the audience synced with them.

WordPress and other open source technologies open up a world of new employment opportunities to freelancers in developing nations like Pakistan. This has helped fuel the growth of the Lahore meetup, which is now largely made up of freelancers and entrepreneurs.

“The local economy is struggling, which is pushing young individuals to start their own businesses or improve their skills,” Kashif said.

“WordPress offers great employment opportunities as one can work from home and does not need a visa or immigration,” he said. “The ease and familiarity with English helps Pakistani freelancers work easily with clients from all over the world.”

A large number of Pakistani developers work in renowned WordPress-based services and products as technical support, routine maintenance, a larger number are students who have formed small groups and are serving the industry.

“Pakistan has a large number of WordPress developers,” Fahad said. “We feel it’s the right time we put it on the globe and tell the world about the unleashed potential we are having here.”
